According to a research report by Invest in Blockchain, Less than 50% of cryptocurrencies provide any real value or any useful function to the users. Among the top 100 most valuable cryptocurrencies (by market capitalization) covered in the study, only 36 were found to have working products. The criteria to be considered a working product was determined to be the existence of active service or working product available to the public, completed roadmap objectives, established over a period of time with revisions to the product, and utilized by entities.
